I was really impressed with Andy who came out to give us a quote for a new air conditioner. He was the last one of the day; we’d probably interviewed five other people with two others the next day. No BS, right to the point, totally honest, and what a great price. We thought we’d get our best deal from Costco since we were members there: $6400. And Andy’s bid came in a little over $5700. And because we decided to go with him and cancel our other interviews, the next day he threw in a duct cleaning for the whole house. That’s CUSTOMER SERVICE. On Thursday to come in and install it and I’ll add to my review at that point too. What I love most about the experience: this is a family-owned business, not a huge corporation, not a company that’s made for hedge managers, a family corporation, and I felt that from Andy. Total different experience.

Hoffman Cooling and Heating - Chuck helped us schedule the appointments at both my house and my mom’s. He did a great job explaining what he was doing and about how long he needed to do the work. He was very nice, professional, and accommodating. We had to have a last-minute surgery for my husband on the day of the appt, and he was able to adjust his schedule for us so he could still make it to our home that day. They sent us texts to tell us when appts were scheduled, when they would be arriving, and then we received a text thanking us for the support, which was nice! Thank you so much for the work!

Joe Syman came and troubleshot my furnace. He took the time to make sure of his diagnosis and showed me the problem. It was determined that it needed replacement. He got me an immediate estimate and financing. The Lennox EL296 furnace was installed the next morning by John and Mike in 4 hours. The furnace and ductwork look great. The furnace is quiet and moves air better. I have my thermostat set lower now and my wife and daughter say the temp is just right. I recommend these guys if your furnace is malfunctioning. Haven't tried them for AC, but they are my new go-to for H&C. 7/7/25 AC died a week ago. Hoffman replaced it this morning and all is cool now. These guys do great work. Highly recommended 👌

Scot and Colton were amazing! Colton came out on an emergency visit on a 95+ degree day and not only replaced my air conditioner, but also fixed some previous mis-work that had been done by others and corrected the issues. He was great at explaining what he had done, what he had found, and showed me what kind of maintenance I should do to keep my systems running in top shape going forward. Scot, the owner, was very responsive, and listened seriously and immediately to what I was looking for. This is my third time using Hoffman, second for an emergency repair, and I will likely not be using anyone else moving forward. They have the mindset and the incredible people that it takes to provide great service.

My AC went out during a heatwave on Sunday afternoon. Scheduled an appointment online for the next morning, 8-12 p.m., so I thought. Received a call early the next morning to tell me that their online scheduling will still schedule appointments even if they are booked, as they were. He apologized profusely and said the next appointment available was Wednesday morning. I survived the heat and the repairman showed up at 8 a.m.! He quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part, and fixed my AC. He was gone in 30 minutes. Price was fair. They were very professional and responsive. I would use Hoffman again.

This was the best experience I could have hoped for. Scott was able to get a new unit installed in a few days after my AC went out. Colton was the installer and was amazing. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. Colton not only did a great job doing the install but the cleanup was amazing. He left my basement cleaner than when he showed up. He also took the time to explain the new unit to me. I would highly recommend Hoffman Cooling and Heating.

I took my time making a decision and frequently changed my mind, but Scott remained patient, providing detailed explanations and promptly scheduling the installation appointment. On the installation day, Ryan arrived and worked efficiently, ensuring the area was left clean as if no work had taken place. I would rate their service five stars in all categories.

My experience mirrors many of the previous reviews… Steve was incredibly helpful from the start and got me connected to the service department and from there got on the schedule and had my heat pump serviced within a day. Not sure if that could’ve happened with any other company, to be honest. I had never used Hoffman before, but am very impressed with how they operate and care for their customers. Class company! The technician that came out to work on our heat pump, Drew, was incredible as well. He was able to diagnose the problem and give us good, honest, and accurate information on what it would take to make the needed repairs. Thankful for a company like Hoffman!!
