We woke up on a Tuesday morning in a cold house. Our furnace had broken down during the night in 30-degree weather, fortunately, not frigid temperatures. We could take a little time deciding on a contractor, not being under emergency conditions like we’d experienced the last time we replaced a furnace! After phoning Hoffman Heating that morning, Drew the salesman arrived within a few hours, provided a straightforward, honest assessment and reasonable cost estimates. By Wednesday night, we’d decided to work with Hoffman. Right on schedule, John and Ryan showed up at 8:15 on Thursday morning. Within a few hours, the new furnace was in and the house was warming up. Everyone has been friendly, easy to work with, communications have been clear. The new furnace is quiet and performing well.
