I've used Hoffman for both my AC and furnace install. Their sales process through install process and callbacks if needed has always been phenomenal. I cannot understate the quality of the customer service and how they make it right if they have to. These are good people and thank you all so much! I did give 4 stars as we did not know we had to pull a permit and weren't told, leading to a scramble to sell our house. When I asked around, most other companies pull this for you and/or help you coordinate that day of install. After reopening the expired permit, we ended up failing the city inspection due to a couple of minor items (the main install has always worked perfectly). That being said, the customer service kicked in immediately and they made it right and in time for us to sell our house successfully.

Quite the shock our 23-year-old furnace was 'Red Tagged' due to excessive CO and being told it would need to be replaced. After talking with several companies, we chose Hoffman Cooling & Heating from Stillwater, MN. Hoffman's representative, Steve Chiarella, was easy to talk with. He answered all of our questions (some probably more than once) and afterward too when we weren't sure of something—he always responded to our texts within minutes. We decided to also replace our 23-year-old AC at the same time as the furnace. All work was done in a matter of a few hours with the work areas cleaned up well and all the old mechanicals taken away. The city inspector came by a few days later to sign off on the installs. He was very impressed with the quality of installation on both items and even noticed and was impressed with the little foot pads the furnace sat on so it wasn't sitting directly on the floor and to help with stability. Thank you, Hoffman Cooling & Heating, for helping us stay warm AND cool!

Great to work with. Chuck came to our home as scheduled, but as soon as he learned I was about to remove the furnace and replace it at a slightly different location, he said that he should wait to be able to do a more complete cleaning as the ductwork would be more accessible. He noted that the old cleaning job was probably incomplete due to the accessibility issue. The rescheduled work took place as planned, and he did a very thorough cleaning. I’m very pleased.

A friend of mine recommended Hoffman. I called them up and scheduled the duct cleaning and furnace check. Chuck was so helpful, so personable. Let me know when he was on his way to the house so I had time to get there. Did an awesome job, cleaned up after himself. Showed me pictures of all of the pet hair that was in the ductwork. The communication from the time I scheduled an appointment until the time they got there was amazing. I would recommend them to every single one of my friends, and I already have.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Came home from a vacation trip to find the AC not working and had out-of-town guests arriving the same evening. Called Hoffman and they had a tech out within a few hours. A major shout out to Drew, the service tech, who quickly diagnosed the issue and had it up and running very quickly. Drew also took the time to go over the status of my furnace and AC system and my options for my 20-year-old system. Hoffman has well earned my future business for heating and AC needs.
